Saturday looked a lot like red and purple paint, some butterflies and lots of Valentines love. We made butterfly Valentines using the template found at Skip to My Lou, but if you're not up for painting dozens of butterflies The Long Thread has posted tons of other free printable Valentines, too!

While writing classmates' names on her Valentines, Carolyn told me which boys in her class were "dreamy". They got the extra-special blue butterflies with red dots.
