"Sister, do you remember that day we got the Princess Christmas lights and decals? And Dad hung them on the window for us just before the sun set. And we sat on the bed bouncing and looking out at the dusky night - admiring the glow of each princess skirt?" Carolyn will someday ask Julia a long time from now.

"I remember we bounced in our tutus as the room got dark, watching Dad take pictures out the window and waiting for Mom to get home from work. We made her close her eyes as we led her to the room to surprise her. She was surprised I think. Who wouldn't be, it was beautiful" she'll remember in return.

The final China Photo share time - the people. I requested that B take lots of people photos, but with the camera poopin' out early in the trip, he was only able to snap a few, still I think they really capture how very similar we all are. Particularly I see this in the faces that children make, regardless of where on the globe they were born.

Some of my Favorite Scenery photos in the China photo share time - and to think the camera broke down less than half-way through the trip, how much more he must have seen. The last one is the moon, the same one the girls were looking at and singing "the moon sees the somebody I'd like to see".

Next up in the China photo share, Food Stuffs (above the group is leaving a restaurant at night, how cool is that street scene? Though no food showing so I guess it's a little off topic)
x
B says the food was delicious, looks pretty good
just like HyVee
x
All of the plates were plastic wrap to prove they were sanitary I guess
x
Not too shabby, and we were worried he's be homesick
x
Ok, this I can't handle
literally or figuratively
First up in the China photo share time is SIGNAGE, he saw some beautiful (see above, that would be gorgeous hanging in a kitchen - love it) and some bizarre (see below).
x
Do not make noise in the civilized ancient town, nuf said

The Fat Sister's Yak Meat
if I ever start a restaurant I now have name

This billboard is an advertisement for insurance,
B pointed out how interesting their values are displayed,
particularly the one-[male]child and the fact that they are sitting on top of the water
