Tonight he played in his first college game and can I just say was AMAZING!?! Check THIS out, 10 points and led the team in blocks. Proud is not a strong enough word at this point.

Our four-day road trip ended with a visit to Cousin Jon,
a freshman Red Bird on the Illinois State Men's Basketball team.
The girls loved being in the big empty arena and pretending to chear,
and they got to have lunch with Jon and pick out Red Bird shirts!

There is something special about an 18-year-old college basketball player who will spend an evening being silly with his two-year-old cousin and reading her Corduroy. Too bad summer has to end, we'll just have to drive to Red Bird country this fall...can't wait. Maybe come September or October Jules will have consented to taking off the $1.99 thrift store dance outfit (here's to hoping).
