Tonight, in keeping with my New Year's Resolution of being more intentional,
I stopped to appreciate laughter.
x
Stopping didn't look like I thought it would, my hands continued to wipe the dishes and my eyes weren't drawn away to somewhere here or there. But rather it was a slowing down inside of me, a pause in the busy-ness of my thoughts, when I let the purity of their laughter, the innocence of the moment bless me. A pause, just long enough, to introduce a heap of gratitude to the end of a long day.

Those pictures are so precious! I'm glad you were able to quiet your mind and enjoy the moment... even if it didn't last long!
