another ordinary day with Fiber Optic Santa:
My Grandma has this way of spotting the peculiarly perfect treasures for my girls. Today they were surprised by a fiber optic Santa that she'd spotted at a garage sale for $2. This is truly a trash-to-treasure moment, as the girls stared in wonderment as the Santa dazzled them with his ever-changing light show. Hurray for Grandma and her crazy-good treasure hunting skills!
And the other highlight of the day is J's new hair cut, which she pulls off OH SO WELL. Though, when dry, I did realize that I might want to attend beauty school, or at least Google 'how to cut you kid's hair' before my next attempt, as there are some rough patches.
