{atypical} Saturday...
Sleeping in past nine - J had me checking her breathing every fifteen minutes - we weren't quiet sure what was going on... Meanwhile C spent the morning negotiating an outfit she had preconceived in her head to include 'pants with a skirt over it'.

At the Independence Farmer's Market the girls charmed their way to free mini-pumpkins, while I managed to make a purchase from 8 out of the 9 vendors brave enough to attempt the elements. We came away with apples, peaches, red and green peppers, butternut squash, eggplant {yikes, might just be for looks this time, but maybe someday we'll try it}, and potatoes and still had $2 left from the $15 we'd brought...

C suggested a 'treasure hunt' so we headed to the antique mall - consequently it is no longer an antique mall so the treasures were not-so-much, but we did dine on a 'girls lunch' at the attached tea room. The girls enjoyed real silverware and glass cups {eek} while dining on a BLT for C and quiche for J and K...

We completed our day (amongst laundry and car cleaning - one goal down, three to go) with a Saturday craft, I dare say we're starting a Saturday trend with our craftiness. I stole this idea from Martha {surprise, surprise}. Unfortunatly the colors look rather 'bleh' in the photo, perhaps they do in person, too - geez I sure hope not...
