Tonight we took the girls to the Lakeland baptism service,
our once a year gathering at Longview Lake beach.
Every year this proves to be a moving event to witness,
both the baptisms and the hundreds of kids laughing and
splashing together right at dusk...
not to mention the incredible lighting.

J was hesitant at first, but didn't take long to LOVE the sandx

B took J out to the deeper water, and she was THRILLED!!!

Laney enjoyed her first experience with sand between her toes

C and her little friend (and consequently her brother the same age as Jules) sat on the shore and watched the baptisms. On the way home the inevitable question, "Mommy!?! Why didn't I get baptized?"
