Thank you Alton Brown for teaching me
how to make the perfect baked potato
(which the girls LOVE and are SO easy)
1. Preheat oven to 350
2. Scrub potato with a wire brush
3. Poke 8-12 holes potato
4. Rub potato down with approximately 1 Tbsp. of olive oil
5. Shake some kosher sea salt over the potato
6. Bake for 1 hour
[I know, it's a baked potato, you are thinking I'm ridiculous, but I've always seen them made with oodles of aluminum foil, and it's exciting to me that it is not needed, you know, because I'm going green, which seems to be the 'hip' thing to do these days!]
