I spent a good portion of Friday afternoon at my sweet friend, Becky's house. She was preparing an amazing array of food for her sister's baby shower. I helped by chopping and measuring and mostly learning from an extraordinary cook. I wished I had brought my digital camera, because everything we made smelled incredible.

Here are the philo dough tartlets we made with a fig concoction (I'm sure it had a lovely name that I cannot remember right now) topped with mascarpone cheese and blue cheese. Unfortunatey the photograph from my cell phone is quite terrible.
