Friday's Fond Memory
happy cold memories
x
My 'fond memories' have currently been exclusively of warmer times (can you tell winter is wearing me down?) I thought that I needed to stop being such a Debbie Downer, and reflect on memories during colder times. I stumbled across this photo, from pre-digital, pre-married days. We traveled with some college friends to New York over the Halloween weekend back in 2002, barely a year after the September 11th attacks. We went specifically to observe the World Trade Center site for Brandon's architecture class project. It was bitter cold, but we had an amazing time. We saw Ellis Island, the Statue of Liberty, Rockefeller Center, Times Square, two Broadway shows, and the World Trade Center site all in three days time. What a different life we led before we worried about Preschool and down-payments and runny noses!
