1. I have very high expectations of myself, in everything I do, even making a list of 25 Random Things

2. I wish I was a brunette - but I'm too lazy to dye my hair so I'll deal

3. I obsess about whether I obsess too much, I think I might need medicine

4. Of all of the blessings in my life, I count my husband to be the biggest

5. I never imagined life would be like this, for the most part for the better

6. My biggest fear is *people* and what they are capable of - from simple ridicule to the stuff you see in horror films

7. Speaking of horror films, I don't dig it, even the trailors give me nightmares

8. I am not a mom that nags about candy or television or bed time...sometimes I think that's good, and sometimes Super Nanny makes me feel guilty

9. I think "never" is a very dangerous thing to say

10. My Grandma died in November and I don't know what to think about it all yet

11. I think being an engineer is only border-line nerdy and I try to talk high school kids into it all the time

12. I fear there is no depth to my understanding about most every topic

13. I wonder if everyone else feels like I do

14. My lucky number is 14

15. Putting away laundry is the most dreaded chore at my house, I'd rather clean a toilet

16. I pay to have my house deep-cleaned once a month, and I would cancel the cable before I would cancel the cleaning lady

17. I lack athleticism to the point that it is laughable

18. My pet peeve is being asked what my 'favorite' is...color, movie, book...just annoys me to my core - a seriously ridiculous concept in my mind

19. I could eat cookies and milk for every meal for 100 years, you could say they're my *favorite* but that would be going too far

20. I spent a summer in college living in Mexico amongst the poor and it changed my life

21. I am a night person, I really thrive after about 11 p.m. ... I might be a vampire actually now that I think about it

22. I worry about my kids, and if I'm messing them up

23. I signed everyone's yearbook in high school 'Vote Republican'

24. The most profound concept I've ever learned is 'grace'
