Driving home from work I get a call...C: Hey Mom!?! Guess what I'm gonna do!?!
K: What's that?
C: I found a punkin seed and I'm going to put it in the yard and it's gonna grow a punkin!
K: Really!?!

After arriving home thirty minutes later...
C: [looking out the window] Uhhh!?! It's not growing! I want to make a punkin pie!
[Probably best that she not hold her breath, as the 'punkin seed' was an unidentified object from the living room floor...]
