As I am spending my Good Friday grocery shopping, hiding little gifts from the girlies and making center pieces - I remember why it is that I love this holiday. Not only is the onslaught of spring reason enough to celebrate, but to comprehend the power and love of our Creator in sending his son to die for MY sins is deserving of the biggest celebration I've ever imagined. Easter is like a huge hug from God - sights of his creation coming alive all around us and knowledge of his unconditional love - yeah, I just can't even express how great it truly is! Ever since I can remember (about the time this photo was taken), Easter has been a happy time, and I can not wait to share it with my girls.
