On nights like tonight I'm grateful for Aunts willing to make me dinner, tutor me in GRE difficulties, and teach my daughter her numbers. I'm also grateful for husbands who take great photos, daughters who say silly things, and a Mom who talks to me all the way home from work. And I'm grateful for the opportunities I have to do things that kinda stress me out (a lot) and the little Julia who sits in the back seat to make it all better.

In the category of Free Fun: We enjoyed a good hour or more of Wii Fit time tonight. The girls like to race and the handsome one likes to giggle as I attempt the balancing exercises.

In the category of Mom-of-the-Year: After eating her dinner of hotdogs and potato salad I invited J to take a walk with me in the heat of the setting sun, after which she promptly threw up her entire dinner.

In the category of favorite moment: Jules cuddled in my arms whispered through her pacifier, "You're my best mom" so I guess she's not too angry with me.
